Journal of Teaching Innovation and Evaluation (JTIE) (Print ISSN: 3106-; Online ISSN: 3106-) is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by Hong Kong Information Education Publishing Company Limited. JTIE publishes two issues each year in both Chinese and English. The journal is edited by Professor Gu Hongli of South China Normal University.
Scope and Topics
The research field of Journal of Teaching Innovation and Evaluation focuses on the theoretical construction and practical exploration of teaching innovation and evaluation research against the background of the interweaving of digital transformation, high-quality educational development and core literacy cultivation, covering core areas such as smart teaching and blended teaching innovation, subject teaching model and method reform, core literacy-oriented teaching design, construction of diversified teaching evaluation systems, development of teaching evaluation indicators and tools, practice of educational quality monitoring and assessment, development of teachers' teaching innovation capabilities, as well as interdisciplinary integration and methodological innovation in teaching innovation and evaluation research. It is committed to revealing the inherent laws and development trends of teaching innovation and evaluation in the new era, exploring innovative experiences and evaluation wisdom in teaching practice, expanding the theoretical boundaries and application scenarios of teaching innovation and evaluation research, and providing a high-level academic platform for promoting the in-depth implementation of teaching reforms, improving the quality of education and teaching, and facilitating the all-round development of teachers and students.
JTIE is a fully open access journal that provides immediate and permanent free access to all published content for all users worldwide without requiring any article processing charges (APCs) or subscription fees. All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license, allowing unrestricted sharing, distribution, and reuse with proper attribution. Authors retain copyright of their work while granting the journal publishing rights. We support responsible scholarly sharing by permitting authors to deposit preprints in any repository without embargo and postprints immediately upon publication. This sustainable model maintains the highest standards of peer review and editorial quality while eliminating financial barriers to knowledge dissemination.
